Job Description:

Experience of minuting complex meetings is a mandatory requirement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person to join the Emergency Planning team as a business support administrator on a job share basis. This is a hybrid role, working 22.5 hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.The Emergency Planning team works closely with emergency services, voluntary agencies, health organisations and other relevant organisations to plan the most effective response to incidents.

The team is responsible for facilitating corporate risk management, business continuity planning and ensuring safety at sports grounds.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to provide support to the team in carrying out its responsibilities. A large part of the role is to help organise meetings and support events so you will need to be a well organised individual who is able to plan ahead. You must be flexible and able to prioritise your work to meet deadlines and be able to communicate with people at all levels across organisations.

You will need to have good literacy skills to be able to take clear and accurate minutes at complex meetings and possess good IT skills although training on specialist software will be provided.

There may be times when working outside of normal office hours is required in response to incidents or emergencies.

The successful applicant will be expected to travel and attend meetings on and off site as required and be expected to help with training.
