Job Title: Office & Accounts Administrator
Location: Arnold, Nottingham
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-Time, Office Based
We are currently looking for an Office and Accounts Administrator to join a small business in Arnold, Nottingham. This is a very varied role, which requires a strong background in Administrative roles.
This permanent position is ideally suited to someone with an office background in a busy and supportive workplace. You will work closely with the office manager to ensure seamless business operations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Raise customer invoices when dispatched
- Log customer receipts and supplier payments
- Match up supplier invoices and delivery notes
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Bank reconciliation
- Run & submit VAT returns
- Enter orders and invoices on the system
- Small amount of Credit Control duties
- Update/post to social media and changes to the website
- Update spreadsheets/databases to assist with marketing
- Obtain and log quotes from suppliers
- Chase up quotes
- Answer phone when required
- Handle incoming enquiries
- Check post and distribute
- Assist with inventory of office and factory supplies
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Sage50 is an advantage
- Strong IT skills & understanding of accounts
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable individual
- Outgoing and friendly attitude, a genuine team player
