Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will:
- Oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a 6.8MW steam turbine, biomass boiler, and associated auxiliary plant.
- Lead and manage a team of Shift Team Leaders, ensuring operational and availability targets are met.
- Implement and maintain best practices in operational safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.
- Monitor plant performance and processes to optimise output and reliability.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Apprentice-trained craftsperson.
- ONC/HNC qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of process flow and plant systems.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar operational role.
