About the Role:


We are recruiting for a Social Housing Refurbishment Site Manager to oversee a range of refurbishment projects within social housing. The ideal candidate will have experience working on planned works, voids, disrepair, or reactive maintenance in the social housing sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet time, quality, and budget expectations.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, site safety protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with social housing standards and legislative requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in social housing refurbishment, including planned works, voids, disrepair, or reactive maintenance.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple trades.
  • A proactive problem solver with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
