Site Manager No 2 (Regional Construction Contractor)

A leading regional contractor is looking to recruit a Site Manager to work as a number 2 with a Project Manager to work on a 16 million extra care new build project in the Nottingham area.
The company have enjoyed steady growth and turnover around 100million, whilst winning numerous awards including the BITC Responsible Business Award and the UKCG Employer of the year. The company incorporate family values and work with a collaborative forward-thinking attitude. The company have recently secured numerous projects and therefore require a talented Project Manager who can project lead from start to finish whilst having a support of a visiting contracts manager.
Their schemes range in value from 5-25m with schemes averaging around the 10m mark. Their projects vary in market sector and include Extra Care, Healthcare, Commercial & Residential.
The Site Manager Role
This contractor is looking for an experienced 'number 2' on site to work under and report into the Project Manager. Responsibilities under the Site Manager's remit include Health and Safety, Quality, managing site team and programming of works. The basic requirements can be summed up as follows:
- You must possess the ability to effectively programme site works.
- You will be responsible for all health and safety on site.
- Managing all quality inspections.
- Have ability to drive projects forward effectively
- Be ambitious and driven to achieve tight deadlines
- Manage cost, quality and time of the project with minimal support.
They are looking for an autonomous Site Manager capable of working as a number 2 on construction schemes over the value of 5 million with ideally some care home project experience. Main Contractor back ground essential.
Benefits
