Talent & Development Manager
Nottingham City Centre
Agile working - 1 day a week in office

SF Recruitment are proud to be working with a professional services organisation, who are on the lookout for an experienced Talent and Development Manager to join the team, especially as they go through a period of acquisitions. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of learning and development, but specifically focusing on developing the emerging talent strategy and supporting the various career paths throughout the business. You will manage critical development pathways (student placement years, apprenticeships, managing existing talent) via both remote and face to face learning.

Responsibilities within the role:
- Work with the people team to define the annual L&D programme for existing employees by following training needs analysis process
- Implement talent mapping and succession planning across all levels of the business
- Promote professional behaviour and our client's values
- Work closely with various teams to support all acquisitions by providing face to face and remote training of processes and policies
- Design, manage and develop all online training content - supporting strategy and mandatory training
- Manage the apprenticeship programme and student placements
- Manage the annual training budget
- Develop and deliver L&D interventions across all formats to support training needs for knowledge, skills and soft skills training
- Design and deliver content to the L&D hub
- Responsible for the implementation and day to day management of a Learning Management System
- Report on L&D activity as required
- Ensure H&S is observed
- Manage new starter induction process
