Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career? If so, my client wants you to join their Mechanical team in Nottingham!

Their welcoming and diverse team is working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in Nottingham, across the UK and around the world.

Working together with a coordinated design team, you'll help breathe life into designs by creating mechanical design models and drawings. You'll have the autonomy to design mechanical services in many sectors of the industry and will be client facing, representing the business at all levels. You'll also get to collaborate with architects, quantity surveyors, project managers and structural engineers from external design teams.

Their innovative and collaborative culture means that you'll get to work with experts from across the business, and you'll have the chance to put all the latest sustainable design techniques in to practice.

Ideal Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have a relevant degree or equivalent for a career in building services engineering
  • You'll be fluent in design software tools such as REVIT and ideally have had exposure to MagiCAD
  • You're a great communicator who can adapt to working with external parties and clients whilst gelling with our growing team
  • You'll have a deep understanding of project needs and will be able to manage their full delivery
  • You'll have recognised qualifications in mechanical services design and will either be working towards chartered status, or have an interest in doing so
  • You're happy working both autonomously and as part of a team to support the delivery of projects
  • Experience of managing people would be an advantage
