Sonic Summary

The company is seeking an experienced Field Engineer with a mechanical bias for a permanent Mechanical Installation Engineer position.
Candidates should have a minimum of an HND qualification and experience in manufacturing, CNC, or automation machinery.
The role involves installing, servicing, and commissioning cutting machinery, as well as providing customer training and fault finding.
The salary is competitive and dependent on experience, with additional benefits including a bonus scheme, commission on spare parts sold, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
Candidates must have a clean UK driving license and be willing to work away from home occasionally.

Installing, servicing, and commissioning cutting machinery for customers.
Providing high quality machine training to customers.
Fault finding, using first principles, ensuring first time fixes.
Responsible for selling spare parts during machine services.
Upselling and promoting service contracts.
Communicating and driving knowledge sharing with other engineers.

Mechanical Installation EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience as a field-based engineering role
Mechanical Qualification (Minimum HND)
Experience within manufacturing/CNC/Automation etc needed
Clean / valid UK driving licence
Ability to work away from home occasionally.
