We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a leading company specializing in coating technologies for the Gas Turbine industry.
The ideal candidate should have experience in both reactive and planned maintenance, supporting the entire facility.
This is a permanent position with a continental shift schedule from 0600 to 1800 and 1800 to 0600 in Nottinghamshire.
Candidates should possess a time-served apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical fields and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates are expected to have relevant experience in maintenance and process control systems.

Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods
Conducting routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
Diagnosing breakdown problems
Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
Working with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery running programs for process

Maintenance Technician KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Time served apprenticeship background in Electrical / Mechanical
Process Control Engineering with proven analytical & problem-solving skills
Responsible for maintaining & developing the plants distributed control system
Good working knowledge of DCS/PLC systems
