You will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic routines, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards.This role would suit an experienced Technician with the knowledge and experience to be able to identify problems and solutions promptly for your customers.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect customers’ vehicles/goods, prior to and on completion of service, maintenance or repair work.
  • Undertake diagnosis of repair requirements to vehicles.
  • Conduct electronic visual health checks (eVHC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner to MOT and manufacturer standards.
  • Procure parts required to complete the work instructions.
  • Ensure a final inspection of all work is implemented and when requested, fully test if safety related or a customer concern.
  • Participate in on-going training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You will be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving licence, ideally with manufacturer experience.
  • You will also need to be EV Qualified
  • Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
