Key Responsibilities:
- Have phone conversations with potential start-up business customers who have enquired about our government-backed start-up loan scheme
- Explain the loan application process in detail and coach applicants on what documents and information they will need to submit
- Assist clients with developing thorough business plans, financial forecasts, and other supporting documents required as part of the application
- Analyse applicants' business proposals and plans to conduct due diligence as per company credit policy guidelines
- Prepare written recommendations and reports on loan applicants for the Credit Assessor to evaluate
- Follow up with applicants to request any missing documentation and information needed before submitting their full application
- Attend networking and entrepreneur events to promote our Start-Up Loans and connect with the start-up community
- Develop relationships with local business support organisations who can refer start-up loan leads
- Continually expand product knowledge of the different government-backed business lending programmes
- Accurately input and update customer details using our CRM system, Atlas portal and Office 365 programmes
- Prepare weekly status reports on application pipeline and conversion rates
- Achieve monthly targets for new start-up business loan applications submitted
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the application process, answering all applicant queries in a clear, patient and prompt manner
- Signpost customers to relevant external organisations

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
