We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services, for a Charge Nurse RMN/RNLD to join the established team in an independent mental health hospital in Nottingham
The hospital is a purpose built 52 bedded acute mental health hospital, comprising of two adult acute wards and 2 Psychiatric Intensive Care Units. The teams main focus is on patient experience right from the point of referral through to discharge and follow on support. They provide services for local NHS patients and out of area patients from the NHS and they have recently been awarded a CQC rating of "good"
This is s full time permanent post and offers a competitive salary of £43,134.00 - £46,433.92 per annum + £5000 Welcome Bonus
The role of a Charge Nurse is to lead by example and be a role model for the nursing team. We are looking for an individual who is able to support junior staff in their professional development, through excellent and effective clinical leadership, mentoring, teaching and sharing of knowledge and practice.
Requirements
• Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an ACTIVE, NMC PIN Registration.
• If you are motivated, flexible and ready to take on a new challenge
• Would like to work as part of an established hospital, with a collaborative and supportive MDT, that provide a clear pathway for the patients in your care.
• Focused on patient centred care.
• Have a commitment to developing and delivering high quality care
• Possess, or be ready to develop effective decision making skills
