What You’ll Be Doing:As a Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients recovering from neurological conditions such as stroke, acquired brain injury, and other complex neuro diagnoses. Your role will include:
- conducting in-depth occupational therapy assessments
- designing and implementing neurorehabilitation plans
- supporting patients in regaining independence in ADLs
- working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- contributing to discharge planning and onward referrals
Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, applicants will need:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- experience working in neurorehabilitation settings
- excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- the ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT
- strong documentation and communication abilities
Working Hours & Contract Duration:This position is full-time (Monday to Friday), but the service is open to part-time applicants. The contract is ongoing, with excellent potential for extension based on performance and service need.
