An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist with 2 years’ experience to join a reputable organisation delivering client-centred therapy to children, families, and educational institutions. This role can be full-time or part-time offering excellent benefits, and a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 FTE.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be providing specialist support to children and young people, addressing a range of developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties, and more, across community settings such as schools and homes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the needs of children to create customised therapy plans.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including educational staff, fellow therapists, and case managers.
  • Supporting families to improve their child's developmental progress.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant records as per HCPC standards.
  • Travelling to various locations for assessments and therapy provision.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as an Occupational Therapist, Occupational Health Therapist or in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in occupational therapy.
  • Experience working with children in a paediatric setting.
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration.
  • Ideally have training in Sensory Integration and qualification in attachment and trauma.
  • Full driving licence and own car with business use insurance.
