About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and organized HR & Office Manager to join the team in Bingham, Nottinghamshire. This role combines human resources leadership with the operational management of the office environment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and a supportive workplace culture.

Overview of the role

Human Resources Management

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee contracts.
  • Utilise Bright HR to manage holidays, sickness, and other HR records.
  • Lead performance reviews, disciplinaries, grievances, and terminations.
  • Provide HR coaching and advice on employee compensation and benefits.
  • Coordinate staff pensions and other employee perks.

Office Management

  • Ensure the smooth operation of utilities, including electricity, broadband, and water.
  • Manage building maintenance, including repairs, boiler, air conditioning, and security systems
  • Oversee cleaning services, waste management, and grounds maintenance.
  • Organise and procure sundry items, office supplies, and staff amenities.
  • Manage company vehicles, including scheduling maintenance and repairs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff social events and foster team engagement.
  • Support IT functions and corporate memberships.
  • Collaborate with external vendors such as solicitors and insurers to meet organisational needs.

About you

  • Proven experience in HR and Office Management, ideally within a fast-paced environment. 5+ years.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, approachable, and solution-oriented mindset.
