First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a sheet metal fabricator for their client who specialise in manufacturing and designing signages.

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products, components, and structures. This role involves using various tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal sheets according to specifications and engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, a keen eye for detail.

Up to £15/hr, Permanent Dayshift role.

The Role:

  • Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, press brakes, and rollers.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of fabricated parts and assemblies.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and equipment operation.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
