Our client is an innovative science and research organisation who is looking for a Courier Coordinator. This is a great time to be joining in their success and becoming part of their friendly and supportive team.

What will the role involve:

  • Processing shipping parcels of samples to be sent to Hospitals and Consultants in the UK and abroad
  • Using systems to record deliveries and distributing them to the right department
  • Identifying issues with shipments (inbound and outbound) and resolving these
  • Contacting external couriers, liasing with other sites/departments
  • Emptying outside drop boxes regularly
  • Managing emails to the hospital to provide information on collections and deliveries
  • Updating the database with accurate information on couriers'
  • Answering phone calls and monitoring the entrance gates
  • Signing visitors in/out and reporting this to the right department
  • Using an excel spreadsheet
  • Preparing consumable items to sent to hospitals or consultants
  • General upkeep of the office environment - ordering stationery, cleaning, locking up for the day

Additional information - Please note that this role will be on a temporary basis for the first 12 weeks, with the potential for extension. The role will be fully on site.
