Accounting Associate (Payroll)  Location: Nottingham NG11 6JS, Hybrid  Hours: Part-time, 32 hours per week (4 days)  Salary: £30k pro-rata  Role Overview:Responsible for processing UK payroll and various accounting tasks for multiple entities, including managing the company expenses system, pension administration, company cars, credit cards, and employee expenses queries.Key Responsibilities:  - Process monthly payroll, including HMRC tax notifications and other payments/deductions.  - Ensure accuracy of pay slips and year-end declarations, and manage payroll reports in SAP.  - Handle monthly RTI submissions and statutory reporting (P45s, P60s, P11d).  - Manage the pension plan, including compliance with auto-enrollment obligations and liaising with the external pension advisor.  - Oversee expenses using the Concur system, ensuring compliance with Global Expenses Policy.  - Manage credit card processes and company car administration.  - Support EFC and Senior Accountant with General Ledger tasks, including Accounts Payable and Receivables.Qualifications:  - AAT qualification or working towards it.  - GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and at least 2-3 GCSEs of the same grade in other subjects.  Skills and Experience:  - Minimum 2 years payroll experience and 5 years in a Finance role.  - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Bank software; knowledge of SAP financial modules preferred.  - Detail-oriented with the ability to investigate and correct errors.  - Strong relationship-building skills for internal and external stakeholders.
