Our client is a Group of companies and a market leading service provider. You will be based from the state of the art head office near Lenton, Nottingham. Our client invests in its employees through offering staff with training, progression and financial support for relevant qualifications - there are currently 4 employees in the payroll team who are receiving funding to complete their payroll qualification (CIPP).

Description

As Payroll Administrator, you will be working as part of a supportive and fast paced team and will be reporting into one of the Payroll Team Leaders. The payroll team is responsible for processing the payroll for c. 14,000 employees. Your role will be very varied as you will be dealing with payroll from cradle to grave. After you have received all the necessary training, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Running 4 weekly, weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Statutory calculations e.g. NI, SSP, SMP and tax.
  • Dealing with payroll queries and payment requests.
  • Producing payroll reports.
  • Liaising with staff and line managers.
  • Running BACs reports.
  • Inputting annual leave.
  • Managing the on and off boarding of starters and leavers.
  • Managing tax filings and HMRC pay queries.

Profile

To apply for this position, you must:

  • Have experience of working in payroll, but you do not need to have covered all of the duties above, as training will be provided where necessary.
  • Live within a commutable distance to the head office near Lenton.
  • Have excellent oral communication skills.

Job Offer

  • A salary of £26,600 - £28,600 (dependent upon experience)
