Job Opportunity: Clinical Pharmacist – Wards
Private Hospital | Nottingham
£32-37 per hour | January 2025 Start
Are you a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist looking to make a difference in a private healthcare setting? We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Pharmacist to join a Private Hospital pharmacy team in Nottingham.
Position:
- Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - Wards
- Location: Nottingham
- Hourly Rate: £32-37 per hour
- Start Date: January 2024
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with a 30-minute break
- Working Days: 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care on hospital wards
- Review and monitor patient prescriptions and medication therapy
- Ensure safe and effective medication usage across clinical teams
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide advice on drug therapies, potential interactions, and side effects
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Registered Clinical Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Previous experience in a clinical or ward-based pharmacy setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy procedures and regulations
