- Check prescriptions.
- Deliver advanced services including NHS Pharmacy First consultations and the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service (PCS).
- Advise patients on urgent care and on the day illness within the scope your practice.
- Advise patients on the use and actions of medications.
- Supervise support staff to undertake the hypertension case finding service.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy aides.
- Perform administrative duties such as updating pharmacy records.
- Work as part of a team to deliver pharmaceutical care to customers.
- Provide NHS and private vaccination services
