Responsibilities of this job role

The post is that of a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner providing appropriate assessments, treatment and discharge planning for patients under the supervision of a senior therapist. The post holder will be required to work closely with the MDT to develop and execute rehabilitation programmes, as well as facilitate discharges with the support of senior staff.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • GCSE (A-C) English/Maths or equivalent
  • NVQ/QCF level 3 in healthcare or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Significant experience of working as a therapy support worker (band 3)
  • To have a knowledge of wheelchairs, assistive equipment and minor adaptations

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
