SF Recruitment are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to help our client uphold and strengthen their commitment to regulatory and internal standards. Based in Nottingham, this hybrid role offers the best of both worlds with two days in the office and three remote days each week. Key Responsibilities:As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that their operations meet all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that the organisation complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes monitoring legislative changes and updating internal policies as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risk. Review and revise policies periodically to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings and present these to senior management.
  • Investigate compliance breaches or incidents, documenting findings, taking corrective actions, and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, audits, and any required certifications or reports.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submissions and responses to any queries or inspections.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a compliance role is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply compliance regulations effectively.
  • Proactive, able to work independently, with excellent communication skills to support diverse teams.
