Hays Education are the market leading agency for the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas, and we are looking to recruit a range of Key Stage 2 intervention teachers. We are seeking teachers who provide the children with an excellent standard of education and school experience through providing engaging lessons in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Your new roleIn your new role as a Key Stage 2 intervention teacher, you will be required to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils, following the values and standards of the school. It is important you are confident in managing and monitoring behaviours and can adapt to support a variety of pupils' abilities. You will be required to work collaboratively with other staff members to provide an excellent standard of student engagement, development, and learning. It is essential, as a Key stage 2 Teacher you can track a pupil's progression and if working in Upper Key Stage 2 set them up for their SATS and next steps into Secondary School.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed you must hold QTS and have teaching experience within key stage two-year groups within the last two years. It is important you are flexible and adaptable in your teaching style and can mentor a variety of abilities. Ideally, you will have experience working with SEND pupils as well as delivering intervention teaching to early years pupils. It is essential you have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and SATS preparation for upper KS2 years.
