Job Description:

We need a Primary Teacher starting ASAP to cover Maternity leave. The school is good Ofsted rated and are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to join their team in September. Initially, you will be working alongside the class teacher until they leave for maternity, when the successful candidate will take over the class full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents for student support.
  • Prepare students for national assessments.
  • Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Uphold school policies for a respectful environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Teaching experience required, ECT's are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessments.
  • Strong communication and motivation skills.
