Job Description:

A lovely school in DE24 are looking for support in their year 2 class. Currently, they have a large class of 37 and theyre looking to releieve pressure by reducing numbers into break off groups, in which youll be teaching. There are mainstream teaching responsibilities aswell as TA support. This role could be split across 2 sites over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents for student support.
  • Prepare students for national assessments.
  • Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Uphold school policies for a respectful environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Teaching experience required, ECT's are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessments.
  • Strong communication and motivation skills.
