YEAR 5 TEACHER JOBPosition: Year 5 Teacher

Location: Nottingham (Clifton, St Annes, Bulwell, Wollaton, West Bridgeford, and Surrounding Areas)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Contract type: Short term or long term positions available

Hays Education are working with primary schools in Nottingham who are looking for qualified teachers to join their team on either a short or long-term basis. Your role

We are looking for supportive, resilient, compassionate individuals to work within a school setting where you will be joining a skilled and cohesive team. The role is to support children in their learning and behavioural needs, and you will play a massive role in their development and educational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience with SEND in the classroom
