Empowering Learning are seeking a full-time, class based teaching assistant for our partner school based in Nottingham (NG3)

This job is due to start Sept 2024 and interviews will be ASAP

We are looking for a qualified TA or somebody with suitable experience to work with children inside the classroom supporting small groups of children working below age expected levels.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and will be able to provide quality instruction and guidance. The goal is to enhance the students' knowledge and learning skills so that they can achieve their maximum potential

Requirements:·Must have a TA qualification or at least one years' experience·Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.·Must be able to work in a small classroom setting·Must be confident working on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils·Must be able build relationships with pupils struggling to engage

Duties:·Supporting the classroom teacher with the delivery of lessons·Provide individualised instruction and guidance to students with disabilities or other learning difficulties.·Motivate and encourage students to pursue their learning goals and do their best in school.·Leading small group academic interventions with pupils working below age expected levels.
