We have a number of vacancies available for both Lead Product Managers and Product Managers on an exciting Digital Transformation programme with a huge household name.

About the role

Working as a member of the Digital Product Management Team you will meaningfully contribute to the delivery of a Digital Transformation agenda. Putting the customer at the heart of all we do and with a focus on value delivery, you will be shaping and delivering the digital product vision, roadmap and subsequent development across our digital channels.The Lead Product Manager owns a product portfolio, building products from creation and throughout the product lifecycle. They represent the 'voice of the customer’ through the lifecycle by bringing knowledge of the Product’s vision, domain and users. Monitoring its performance and development, they promote the delivery of maximum value.

The Digital team is at the forefront of an important platform migration effort, which is a cornerstone of the broader Digital Transformation programme. A critical component of this role involves providing comprehensive product support throughout the duration of this program, ensuring seamless transition and operational excellence.

What you’ll need to have

  • Visionary Thinking: Guide the creation and evolution of product strategy and vision, seamlessly aligning them with our business goals to shape the future of Boots.
  • Inspirational Leadership: Lead the charge in defining and steering product strategy, vision, and roadmaps, ensuring every step aligns with our ambitious business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Harness the power of data with keen analysis of KPIs, making informed strategic decisions that propel our products and business forward in a data-driven direction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, communicating product updates, successes, and value, as well as securing alignment and support for key roadmap initiatives.
  • Vision and Roadmap Definition: Shaping and delivering the digital product vision and roadmap across digital channels.
  • Performance Management: Define and monitor key measures and metrics to manage the performance of your products throughout their lifecycle, using data and insights to drive change through data-driven decisions.
  • Business Case Development: Proactively develop business cases for roadmap activities and secure funding in line with established processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, supporting their wellbeing, personal and professional development, and day-to-day activities.
  • Advocacy: Actively promote the team and act as an advocate of the Product discipline within and outside the organisation.

It would be great if you also have

  • You are an experienced Lead/Senior Product Manager or Owner with demonstrable experience across a variety of Products or Domains.
  • You demonstrate great attention to detail, while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
  • Proactive, independent and self-starting, you are adept at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You understand technical aspects of product development, working closely with IT colleagues.
  • Familiar with digital development approaches and agile delivery principles, ideally in a scaled agile (SAFe) environment.
  • A passionate Product Professional, you will apply the discipline’s best practices and share your knowledge and experience with your teammates.
  • A familiarity with pharmacy and healthcare, as well as an understanding of available technology.
