Product Owner
Our client is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst who thrives in a motivated and driven environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic development team, working on a cutting-edge application used by clients around the globe.
As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in analysing and documenting requirements, ensuring accuracy in conveying objectives, and supporting the successful delivery of our product. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX designers, Solution Architects, Development Team Leads, and Testers as part of our Agile team.
This is a hybrid role - 2-3 days per week in Nottinghamshire offices.
Responsibilities:
- Translate and document business requirements into actionable product requirements (epics) and user stories in Jira/Confluence.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to gather business requirements and maintain a well-prioritised product backlog.
- Lead and facilitate collaboration across a diverse team, ensuring both technical and non-technical members align with the product vision and objectives.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master to conduct refinement sessions and guide engineering teams in designing solution blueprints and estimating effort.
- Conduct user-centric analysis, capturing user goals and defining clear acceptance criteria.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical BA role, focusing on software development projects.
- Experience working across multiple development channels.
- A passion for solving complex problems and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritise work effectively.
- Strong understanding and experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience in the structural steel fabrication industry or familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) would be highly advantageous.
Salary:
