We are looking for an experienced quality inspector to start immediately for our client, a long established precision engineering company specialising in high-speed CNC machining based in Stapleford Nottingham.

What’s in it for you/ benefits:

£32,000 per year / £15.78 per hour

7:30am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs & 7:30am-12:30pm Fri (39hrs per week)

Immediate start

Will lead to a permanent contract after successful probation

Role overview:

As the quality inspector you will be inspecting machined components for rail, automotive and aerospace. You will also speak to customers and deal with faults/complaints. Successful applicants will have an engineering quality background, with knowledge of CMM, Keyence and ISO 9001.

Key responsibilities:

Checking and inspecting components

Liaising with customers and production

Ability to complete reports and documentation to maintain ISO9001

Skills and experience:

Experience in first article inspection report (FAIR), CMM and Keyence

Previous experience as engineering quality inspection is essential

Ideally worked within ISO 9001 environment

Good communication skills and understanding of technical drawings and specifications
