Manufacturing Despatch Supervisor

Within manufacturing environment

Shifts: Days (Early finish on Friday)

Salary: Up to 36,000 Per Annum (Dependant on Experience)

The Company: A well-established and growing precision engineering group and global manufacturer operating in a variety of Complex Markets including but not limited to the Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and Medical industries.

Due to continued growth into new sectors and expansion of their largest contracts, the company is undergoing a recruitment drive for Senior Goods In Supervisors, to oversee the packing and dispatch part of the business.

The Candidate:

  • Experience in Dispatch or packing with management experience.
  • Ability to oversee packing operatives
  • Quality checking experience.
  • Confident in overseeing a team
  • Experience of Goods In knowledge

Goods In Supervisor:

  • Overseeing packing and dispatch staff
  • Checking products are going out correctly
  • Quality checking other's work
  • Liaising with suppliers / couriers
  • Fulfilling orders in a timely manner
  • Reviewing staff performance
  • Managing staff requirements
  • Reporting issues

Essential Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of quality standards and procedures, (ideally aerospace).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task
