Our client is a market-leading producer of high-end manufacturing machinery distributed across the worldwide. With around 61 production and distribution sites across the world (in Europe, USA and the Far-East). You will be joining a fast-paced environment in a brand new production and distribution logistics hub with circa 50 colleagues across warehousing, despatch and production.
Job Description
As a Warehouse & Production Manager you will report into the UK Operations Director on a daily basis and will be responsible for the following areas of responsibility within the Nottinghamshire site.
- Managing around 40-50x warehouse & production colleagues across a Monday to Friday operations.
- Responsible for a warehouse of over 120k sq.ft. with a mixed production and warehouse despatch operation and throughput of high-value manufactured goods.
- Responsible for the management of 1x Production Supervisor, 1x Despatch Manager, 1x Inventory Manager and a Production & Warehousing Team of between 30-50 members.
- Full budgetary P&L responsibility, alongside achieving target KPI's and ensuring on-time, in-full delivery.
- Motoring productivity and cost targets alongside customer service excellence.
- Review processes to identify improvements and lead change initiatives.
- Lead talent reviews and management for succession planning.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Warehouse & Production Manager will have an expansive background in production and/or warehousing operations and will have the following skills & experience:
- 5+ years' experience managing production or warehousing operations, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing in excess of 30+ colleagues in a production & logistics environment.
- Ideally NEBOSH / IOSH qualified
- Commutable to Nottinghamshire on a daily basis.
