Our client delivers and installs largesteel temporary access solutions and is working on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. Our clients access products play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale construction and engineering schemes across a variety of sectors.

Due to succession planning, our client is now looking to recruit a Junior Site/Project Manager to join their team.

As a Junior Site/Project Manager, you will be supporting and shadowing an experienced Project Manager, gaining hands-on experience in the management and delivery of projects.

This role will be split between the office in Nottingham and being on site (2/3 of the time being at Nottingham).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are maintained
  • Conduct site visits across the UK to oversee project delivery and ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
  • Prepare project reports and documentation, including risk assessments and method statements
  • Support in managing project risks, resources, and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Experience of working within Project Managementwithin steel structures
  • Experience in preparing RAMS, Lift plans, Method Statements (CAD advantageous)
  • Able to commute to the Nottingham office

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CPCS Appointed person (desirable)
  • SMSTS (desirable)
  • CSCS gold card
