Are you an experienced Buyer who has worked within the manufacturing industry? Are you MCIPSqualified or working towards this? We are partnered with a precision engineering organisation who work closely with the aerospace and energy markets. They are looking for a Buyer to join them on a permanent basis to actively manage the supply chain and work closely with the procurement department, to operate in line with company procedures and external regulations.BuyerPermanentSalary dependent on experience Monday to Friday 8am – 4:15pmNottinghamshireBuyerJob Description - Create and maintain Item Master record information on ERP system for stock parts.
- Negotiate prices and contract terms for stock items.
- Purchase order requisition processing – review, sentencing, coding and order placement.
- Develop and maintain supper performance assessment metrics and the risk assessment process.
- Participate in the procurement process for capital expenditure, including supplier selection, pricing, payment and contract terms.
- Ensure stock levels of production materials, consumables and tooling are maintained.
BuyerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications - MCIPS qualified or working towards or CIPS Level 4 qualified
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Worked with complex supply chains
