We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Surveyor to join a social housing contractor in the East Midlands area. This role involves working closely with a new social housing partner, making it ideal for someone with experience in the reactive maintenance sector or someone who has a keen interest in moving into this market.

Description

Your role will involve:

  • Generating commercial reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Overseeing the prompt acquisition of quotations for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services; evaluating quotes commercially and securing orders on favourable terms to support project time-lines and meeting business goals.
  • Frequently conducting on-site measurements and take-offs.
  • Ensuring the timely completion of all contractual procedures.

Profile

The ideal person for this role will already have experience working in a similar role and/or have experience working on similar projects and client base. You will be able to be a stand alone AQS and be able to hit the ground running on a new contract.
