Despite a tough market this company are thriving with a great land bank and some exciting plans for growth. Due to the fantastic order book they have, the business is now looking to add to their commercial team.

In this role you will be assisting the commercial department working closely alongside the Quantity Surveyor. You will be tasked with ordering materials with suppliers, processing sub-contractor payments and liaising with subbies where necessary. You will also be required to do other administration duties as and when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a residential background with experience working in a commercial department as a Commercial Assistant / Buyer / Assistant QS, you will hold a Full UK driving license.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial professional to join a family-run, well established residential developer that can offer a long-term role within a close-knit environment.

The Role:

Support with material buying
Liaising with Quantity Surveyors
Processing material orders and sub-contractor payments
Cost control

The Person:

Experience in the Commercial department
Residential experience
Full UK driving licence
