Your Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for prospective projects, ensuring cost-effective and creative solutions that meet client needs. You will work closely with sales teams, project managers, and clients to develop competitive tenders and bids while maintaining strong relationships to drive business success.
What You Will Be Doing
Analysing project requirements, including materials, labour, and production costs
Preparing estimates, tenders, and bids in collaboration with the sales team
Visiting job sites to assess cost factors and gather crucial project details
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Negotiating project costings with clients and fostering strong relationships
Monitoring industry costs and trends to refine estimating strategies
Supporting business growth by identifying opportunities for improvement

Experience in estimating within a relevant industry
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
