Quantity Surveyor - East Midlands

Quantity Surveyor - a leading privately-owned contractor is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading regional contractor delivering projects across education and training, healthcare, commercial and leisure sectors ranging from £5m - £25m.

The initial projects include a shopping centre refurbishment in Nottinghamshire (£12m) and a conversion of a disused industrial area into a contemporary leisure venue in Leicester (£14m).

Requirements:
- Experience managing sub-contractor variations
- Experience working with a building contractor
- Experience dealing with final accounts
- Industry related qualification

Key Duties:
- Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
- Dealing with variations and valuations
- Input during pre-construction stage
- Input into production of CVRs

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £2m+.
