Looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Maintenance Contractor based in Nottingham

We’re looking for someone who has knowledge and understanding Planned works and Decent Homes Projects

Responsibilities:

  • Managing project budgets and costs for kitchen and bathroom upgrades, window and door replacements, roofing works, and external refurbishments
  • Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts to ensure cost efficiency and financial control
  • Reviewing contractor applications, payments, and cost reports to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates and quality workmanship
  • Ensuring compliance with NHF Schedule of Rates and other contractual obligations
  • Working closely with project managers, clients, and contractors to maintain smooth project delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing and planned maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Decent Homes refurbishment works
  • Experience working with NHF Schedule of Rates and contract frameworks
  • Proficiency in MS Office and industry-specific software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
