Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Student Lettings Negotiator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for property, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong drive to succeed. This role involves managing the lettings process from initial inquiry to tenancy agreement, ensuring a positive experience for both landlords and tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Property Viewings: Organise and conduct property viewings for prospective student tenants, showcasing properties effectively and answering any queries.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and tenants, providing high levels of service and communication throughout the lettings process.
- Negotiations: Handle inquiries and negotiate tenancy terms, converting viewings into successful lettings.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare tenancy agreements, process tenant references, and ensure all necessary documentation complies with current regulations.
- Marketing: Assist in marketing available properties through online listings, social media, and other channels to attract prospective tenants.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient lettings process.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in lettings, sales, or customer service is advantageous but not essential. A passion for the property industry is a must.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload efficiently.
- Proactive Attitude: A proactive and positive can-do attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Driving License: A full UK driving license is required to facilitate property viewings and visits.
