James Leighton is a Top 50 mortgage producer nationally, ranking in the Top 5 of new build specialists, and were looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our growing team. About the Role:
As part of our Commercial department, youll be involved in a variety of tasks that support both our remuneration and HR functions. You'll play an important part in processing data accurately and providing administrative support across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting HR administration, including onboarding new joiners and maintaining employee records
- Keying remuneration data into internal systems
- Preparing adviser commission statements for review
- Reviewing data to identify discrepancies or anything that doesnt look correct
- Assisting with general administration tasks within the Commercial Team
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and data systems
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information
- Previous experience in a finance, admin or HR support role is desirable but not essential
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and a willingness to learn

Practicalities
- Monday to Friday (40 hrs per week)
- Office-based
Remuneration & Terms
- Permanent & full-time role
- £21,000 to £25,500 dependent on age and experience
- 20 Days holiday, increasing by 1 day per annum of service up to a maximum of 25 days + Bank Holidays
- 9 months probation
