Company Overview:

Our client is a well-established Lettings Agency based in Nottingham. They provide Student Accommodation, High Quality Student Houses and Homes across Nottingham for University Students. They pride themselves on creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that every team member feels valued and appreciated. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Property Manager.

Position Overview:

The lettings business has built a portfolio with over 170 properties and over 30 landlords. The role involves successfully managing the portfolio with other members of the team. The successful applicant will have previous experience in Lettings and Management, preferably in the student sector. If you are a motivated and proactive individual looking to make a meaningful impact in a bespoke industry, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of properties
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, and contractors
  • Ensure the satisfaction of all parties involved
  • Handle tasks swiftly and efficiently during busy periods
  • Use initiative to solve problems and complete tasks
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of student housing to ensure they meet high standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to promptly address repairs and maintenance issues.
  • Stay informed about local housing regulations and ensure the property is in compliance with all relevant laws.
  • Conduct property inspections, check in & check outs and provide accurate and detailed reports to property owners, addressing any maintenance or improvement needs.
  • Conduct rent appraisals and provide accurate and detailed reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in student lettings, with a strong track record of successful Property Management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of property management regulations and legal requirements.
  • Familiarity with local property markets and trends.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Full UK Driving License and Own Transport
