Your new company Hays Education are working with a secondary school in Nottingham who are looking for a School Receptionist to start as soon as possible on a temporary contract for a minimum of six months. Your new role As a School Receptionist, you will play an integral part in maintaining the vital functions of the school that ensure it runs smoothly. Your duties may include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the school
  • Supporting parents, staff and students with enquiries
  • Directing incoming calls to the appropriate personnel
  • General office administrative duties

What you'll need to succeed

  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ideally have previous experience of working in a school office
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
