Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: NG1, NG3 & NG7
Pay Scale: £100 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-Day Supply, Full time/Part time
Are you a proactive individual with strong behaviour management skills seeking a flexible teaching role?
GSL Education are looking for a committed Cover Supervisor for day-to-day supply work in schools across Nottingham. Due to the nature of this role, you may get calls on the day of work between 7am - 7:30am and be expected to arrive at the school for 8:30am/8:45am.
This role is a great way to gain experience working in a classroom, delivering a variety of pre-prepared work/activities across different subjects.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and on task.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Support students in their learning and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Provide feedback to school staff on student engagement and progress.
Cover Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Proactive attitude with strong behaviour management skills.
- Strong levels of Maths and English are essential.
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
