Our Client are currently looking for a Workshop Engineerto join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.

As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical manufacturing processes. You will support the production team, oversee the assembly and testing of electrical systems, and troubleshoot any technical issues in the workshop. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to the development of high-quality electrical products.

Workshop Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, and repair electrical systems and components in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain and calibrate workshop tools, equipment, and machinery for optimal performance.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Ensure all products pass quality checks and comply with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

 Workshop Engineer Skills and Experience:

  • HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Manufacturing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an engineering or workshop environment, ideally within electrical manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and testing procedures.
  • Proficient in using workshop tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
