Role: Business Development Manager
Salary: £50k-£55k attractive OTE, car allowance and competitive benefits package

The Company
Our client is a significant player in the waste sector, they provide specialist waste treatment and disposal services to the Construction, Energy and Oil and Gas sectors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the Midlands and South region.
The Role
- As BDM you will develop and generate sales in the construction waste services.
- You will be a driven, self-starter who will develop and build strong commercial relationships across your region.
- As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for writing and presenting commercial proposals and will work collaboratively with the Operations teams to deliver high quality customer service.
- As BDM you will create excellent client relationships to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all technical details of the services provided.
- As Business Development Manager you will have autonomy for planning and managing your client base and region, ensuring regular face to face customer visits.
- As Business Development Manager you will maintain knowledge and awareness of market trends, customer trends, and the competitive environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Will have a proven track record as a Business Development Manager from within the construction, demolition or remediation sectors.
- Will have a technical waste understanding from these sectors.
- Working on behalf of a corporate organisation you will have exemplary presentation skills.
- This role requires a candidate who is decisive with strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- You will be an excellent relationship builder, with clients and internal colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills required.
