Techniche Global are supporting a leader in cooling systems to appoint a Sales Engineer. You will play a crucial role in driving sales by combining technical expertise with effective communication skills. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored air conditioning solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of air conditioning systems, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salary: £50-60k + bonusesLocation: you will be covering the Midlands or the South East of EnglandDuration: permanent/ full-time Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Company’s air conditioning product line and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements, understanding technical specifications and translating them into viable solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the technical features and benefits of Company’s air conditioning solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to customize air conditioning solutions to meet their specific needs
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to clients with varying levels of technical understanding, ensuring clarity and building confidence in Company’s solutions.
- Work closely with the project and application teams to align technical solutions with client expectations, contributing to a cohesive and successful sales strategy.
- Ensure a smooth transition from the sales phase to project implementation, collaborating with project delivery team and providing necessary technical insights and information to enable a successful completion.
- Stay informed about competitors' products and technologies, leveraging this knowledge to position Company’s solutions as superior in the market
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing technical support and acting as a trusted advisor for their air conditioning needs.
- Adapt sales techniques to engage with clients in face to face and remotely, utilizing digital tools and communication channels effectively.
