Permanent Accounts Assistant Job - Full-Time - NG9

About Us:

Hays is working with a leading name in the construction and engineering sector, committed to excellence and providing a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:General Ledger (Essential)

  • Manage expense cost allocation journals
  • Handle weekly payroll cost allocation journals
  • Process credit card cost journals on the general ledger
  • Provide information to external auditors
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties

Bank (Essential)

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and report to the Group
  • Reconcile bank statements weekly
  • Consolidate Group cash flow forecasts

Purchase Ledger (Preferred)

  • Process purchase invoices
  • Set up new supplier accounts
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries
  • Manage weekly payment of suppliers

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Excel (essential)
  • Familiarity with Word (preferred)
  • Experience with software systems such as Coins (preferable) or equivalent
  • AAT qualification
