Role Overview:

As a Finance Assistant, you will be a crucial part of the finance team, supporting the business as it continues its upward trajectory. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling a variety of tasks, including working across both sides of the ledger and assisting with general administration. Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Ledger: Processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payments.
  • Sales Ledger: Raising invoices, posting receipts, and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
  • General Administration: Supporting the finance team with filing, data entry, and other admin duties.
  • Assisting with month-end processes and financial reporting.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, or Finance Administrator role.
  • Confidence working across both purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Willingness to take on general admin tasks as part of the role.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and accounting software.
  • A positive and flexible attitude, with a desire to support the team.
